My name is Vito Vishnepolsky and I’m Martal Group, founder and director.

Martal is an agency helping tech companies scale faster and skip the prospecting process with B2B sales qualified leads generated and vetted by top North American sales executives.

For the last 3 years, Martal is growing over 120% a year and is considered a vendor of choice for many recognizable technology brands.


What's your backstory and how did you get into entrepreneurship?

I started this business as a one-man show, as I had some experience in strategic consulting, servicing startup companies.

Entrepreneur success is always going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.

I was looking for a scalable business model for the first five years, catering to various consulting services until I tried the idea of outsourced sales that resonated with a lot of clients.

I have built this business as a bootstrapped venture, fueling the growth of the company with the company's revenue.

Take us through your entrepreneurial journey. How did you go from day 1 to today?

When I started Martal we mostly had consulting projects and I wasn’t able to create sustainable income until we landed the first large client. For the first 5 years, we were mostly busy servicing this client and when the contract was terminated we had to lay off all team members.

From that point we tried to build our business on a scalable service that was in high demand and as a result, we have diversified our client roster. Today, we enhance our client’s in-house sales teams with top Sales Executives on demand, catering lead generation, and sales services across 50+ verticals.

Today we cater outsourced sales and both outbound and inbound lead generation, as well as Account-Based Marketing (shortlisting target accounts and reaching the right stakeholder at the right company). This service is very popular, especially during the pandemic when most of the F2F meetings are no longer an option and our clients are looking into creative ways to build their sales pipeline.


How are you doing today and what does the future look like?

Today Martal is a profitable business growing the company headcount at over 130% /year.


While mostly creating opportunities in North America, we have recently expanded to the LATAM and European markets.

Through starting the business, have you learned anything particularly helpful or advantageous?

Since starting the business the most important thing I’ve learned is patience and tenacity. The most painful mistake was developing a dependency on one large client, while the most important lesson was to build a lot of online trust elements and increase brand recognition via referral programs.

What platform/tools do you use for your business?

We are not disclosing the systems we are using, but they include 4 databases, 2 systems to validate contact info, one system to warm up emails and new domain, 2 outbound CRM platforms, 2 dedicated SMTP servers, a predictive dialer phone system, and other tools.

Advice for other entrepreneurs who want to get started or are just starting out?

Entrepreneur success is always going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.
