Who are you and what business did you start?

I'm Michail Neochoritis, founder of Cryptomania Clothing, a crypto-inspired apparel brand for the Bitcoin, Ethereum and Web3 community. Based in Cyprus, we ship worldwide with 1,450+ original designs across hoodies, t-shirts, caps, mugs and home goods, all organized by coin ecosystem and crypto culture theme.

Our customers are crypto investors, traders and blockchain enthusiasts who treat their holdings as identity, not just investment. What sets us apart is our catalog depth and SEO architecture: 144 collections each mapped to specific coin communities, built for organic growth. Today we're in the early revenue phase, steadily targeting $10K/month by end of 2026.

How do you come up with the idea for Cryptomania Clothing?

The idea came from being in crypto myself and seeing a gap. The Bitcoin and Ethereum communities had strong identities, but their apparel was generic and low-effort.

I'd had other ecommerce ideas before, but most chased trends with no community behind them. This was different, crypto isn't a trend to its holders, it's identity. That's how I knew it was right.

The aha moment: people don't buy a Bitcoin hoodie because they need a hoodie. They buy it because Bitcoin is who they are. My background is ecommerce and SEO, so I validated it by building demand around specific coin communities.

How did you launch Cryptomania Clothing and get initial traction?

There was no big launch moment - that was deliberate. I treated it as a long game from day one. Instead of a splashy announcement, I built the storefront, structured the catalog around coin communities, and focused on getting found in search rather than shouting about it.

The first sales came from organic discovery. Someone searching for Bitcoin apparel and landing on a page actually built for them. That validated the whole thesis.

The biggest lesson: in a niche this specific, you don't launch to a crowd. You build the right pages and let the right buyers find you over time.

What was the growth strategy for Cryptomania Clothing and how did you scale?

Growth has been almost entirely organic search, and that was a deliberate bet from the very beginning of this whole journey. In a niche this specific, paid ads burn cash fast and social audiences are hard to build cold, but search captures people at the exact moment they're looking for a Bitcoin hoodie or an Ethereum tee. So I went deep on SEO instead of spreading thin across every channel.

The core tactic was catalog architecture. Rather than uploading random designs, I built 144 collections, each mapped to a specific coin community and buyer intent - Bitcoin clothing, Ethereum apparel, Solana merch, and dozens more beyond that. Every one of the 1,450+ products supports a collection, and every collection targets terms real buyers actually search for. A catalog structured this way can own hundreds of long-tail searches that no competitor bothers to target.

A concrete example: instead of fighting for "crypto merch" head-on against giants like Amazon and Etsy, I target dozens of low-competition coin-specific terms that each product can realistically rank for. Small individually, but meaningful in aggregate across a large catalog.

The lesson for other founders: pick a niche with a passionate identity community, then build structure, not just volume. More products alone don't grow a business -products that support collections, collections that build authority, and authority that earns rankings do.

he current focus is domain authority through editorial coverage and partnerships, because in SEO, authority is the gate everything else waits behind. Earn that, and the rankings follow.

What were the biggest lessons learned from building Cryptomania Clothing?

Biggest mistake early on: I focused on volume, adding products fast without the structure to support them. A big catalog with no architecture is just noise, pages that never rank. I had to rebuild around collections and buyer intent.

Best decision: committing to SEO and patience instead of chasing quick wins. Authority compounds; shortcuts don't.

The lesson others miss: traffic isn't success, revenue is. And in a niche, you don't need a huge audience, you need the right buyers finding the right page.

My top tip: pick a community with real identity, build structure, and play the long game. Consistency beats intensity.
