Automated Laravel upgrades for developers
Shift monetized initially through pay-as-you-go runs, charging users between $3 and $39 depending on the number of versions upgraded or services used. Later, Shift introduced recurring subscription plans starting at $99 per year, which provide full access to the Shift Workbench and additional tools. Today, revenue is split evenly between pay-as-you-go payments and subscription plans.
