How Much Money HeyNews Makes

“A couple of weeks ago HeyNews MRR had a good week. I wrote that I didn't know yet if it would hold, and said to ask me in a month. It took two weeks. MRR is $694.30 now, the same number it was before the good week. One customer left in each of the last two weeks, with nobody new in either. I'm at 7. I shouldn't have been surprised. The subscriptions set to cancel were already inside the good week's number. Stripe keeps counting them until the billing period ends, so the headline went up on a day when part of it was already gone. 3 paying subscriptions still have a cancel date on them.”

“HeyNews is at $772.30 MRR this week, up from $694.30 last week. Three new customers came in. That's 9 customers total. That $772.30 still includes 5 subscriptions set to cancel when their billing period ends. Stripe keeps counting them until then, so part of the headline number already has an end date on it.”
