Hello! Who are you and what business did you start?

Hey there! I am Rohit Garg, Co-founder of Qwaiting. I am 34 and currently residing in Singapore. I began my career in the IT field and we introduced Qwaiting to eliminate customer time wait in every business.

While proceeding further with Qwaiting, I would like to explain it in brief. An ideal solution helps business organizations increase productivity and reduce the burden of managing customers. People hate waiting in long queues and with that objective keeping in mind, I created this software to ease the burden of SMEs and make their brand outshine in the digital world.

Regardless of the features mentioned above, our Queue Management System also specializes in providing Data Analytics Report, Real-time Monitoring, Customer Feedback Support, and Centralized Management.

The startup was first built in 2019, in Singapore. Currently, we have a team of 50+ members. 500+ entrepreneurs have implemented this solution because of its tremendous features. Our average monthly revenue is 66k$ per month. From scheduling all the appointments at a single place to providing monthly data analytics, this software works promptly.

What's your backstory and how did you come up with the idea of Qwaiting?

The idea of launching Qwaiting came to my mind when my friend and I went for dinner at a restaurant and had to stand and wait for a long time before finally getting seated. Well, this was not something new that happened with us for the first time. Everytime we visited that restaurant we wasted a lot of time there. This was frustrating.

Be confident in what you are saying about your business and what great things you are aiming to do. And this way you will touch the peak of success.

While experiencing this situation, an idea crossed my mind to launch something that can help businesses manage queues and work smoothly. Further, we analyzed a lot more businesses like financial services, healthcare facilities, they were facing massive customer flow, and handling customers at peak time is the main issue all of them are facing. I really worked hard, did a lot of research, and studied day & night about the queuing system. It took me 2 years to finally launch it.

Finally, Qwaiting was launched. Initially, we were struggling to attract new customers. Then we started offering free trials on our website and to local businesses facing massive customer flow. We received positive feedback from them. They concluded our Queue Management System reduced their customer time wait, helped increase their productivity level and increase conversion rate.

Take us through the process of designing, prototyping, and manufacturing your first product.

As I have already mentioned in my previous answer, we were very well aware of the problems that businesses were facing. The major problem was excessive long waits in the line that used to affect conversion rates of the business. Staff workloads, handling queuing problems manually, ineffective business relationships were other issues that SMB faced.

Qwaiting is a cloud-based queue management software and helps multiple businesses to manage their customers better. Our Queue Systems are designed not just to increase efficiency but also helps to improve the visitor experience. From taking the customer booking and collecting the visitor feedback, this solution is a need of an hour.

We believe in taking client feedback seriously and incorporating them into our software. If I talk about the new changes we have made into software is introducing the QR code. This feature allows users to scan the QR code, and the software sends the intimation to your business and registers the user as the next in the virtual queue.

It feels outstanding when efforts go into creating & designing great software that could help numerous businesses. Here we have the right expertise and professional team that delivers a great customer experience by providing helpful Qwaiting software to the business organizations around.

Describe the process of launching Qwaiting

From the first day, our main focus was on the designing part and improving the user experience. First, we started testing our software on a small-scale clinic for several weeks, and our team had collected feedback about the software regularly. After certain days, we found that we require more advances in the software. I would say it's a regular process of evolving better and better.

I launched Qwaiting in 2019. Social media promotions, implementing digital marketing, offering free demos helped us in collecting leads. With the increase of connections, I was able to reach out to more customers and business owners who needed Qwaiting.

Our main focus was on the below-mentioned industries;

  1. Banks
  2. Hospitals
  3. Retail Store
  4. Airports
  5. Public sector enterprises

We knew that social media and digital marketing would help us to promote our software. I started focusing on building connections with the Public sector, Retail, Banks industries using platforms like LinkedIn, and represented my brand. My effort paid me well and Qwaiting is still on the rise.

Since launch, what has worked to attract and retain customers?

Once I was done with the launching process, I started promoting software on different social media channels and started running ad campaigns. Online promotion really helped me in boosting customer growth. I even provided FREE trials and demos to the customers. The motive behind it was to make them familiar with our software.

Over the years, we have found that our sales are not improving due to a lack of awareness for our product among users and realized that creating a solution is not enough. Then we make a plan to make awareness about it, using digital marketing techniques.

When I was about to launch, I had enough time while the Qwaiting was to be designed. More, I was very well aware that owning this software solution would not be enough so I decided to spend more time on Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, and many more to create a solution awareness before its launch.

Further, social media channels were created where the team was committed to promotions that represented the brand. With organic traffic, we also started with digital marketing to make our software stand apart in the SERPs. And with this method, we gained customer leads. Interested people approached us and registered themselves with Qwaiting. In fact, we gained many customers from referrals and now our software is used by many and ranks well on SERPs.

How are you doing today and what does the future look like?

Getting success in a business is every entrepreneur’s dream. So my dreams came true. It is quite challenging for enterprises to build customer relationships. Few may have a query about the product or some may have a question at its cost. Although, till the date, we have all our satisfied customers and they are doing well with Qwaiting software. If customers find any issues or obstacles, the 24 hours customer support service is provided to them immediately.

I want to keep these things going on and on! Right from the time I began launching Qwaiting, customer satisfaction was the first expectation I had from my customers. My team of 50+ experts is well versed and holds great knowledge about his software. Whether there’s an update or added feature, we strive to offer quality assistance and support services. More this, the plan is to hire more professionals, create new ideas, boost sales and revenue generation in near future.

Through starting the business, have you learned anything particularly helpful or advantageous?

Problems and difficulties are inevitable while managing the business. Getting through those situations and difficulties takes time and a lot of effort. I would like to share with you an example, in the initial days, we had little experience of our business that cost us a lot.

We produce good relevant content about our offering however, with lacking good technical skills in digital publication, we cannot accomplish remarkable readership numbers for our content. Then, later on, as our team size increased, we filled this gap.

What have been the most influential books, podcasts, or other resources?

The 18/20 Principle book motivated and encouraged me a lot. It helped me obtain a lot of knowledge and data relating to the business world and team management. I learned a lot in this book and it helped me achieve my goals too when I executed those facts in my business.

For building a successful venture, time management also became a key aspect.

Advice for other entrepreneurs who want to get started or are just starting out?

I have met several people planning great ideas and thoughts on business development. But it is very rare when they move forward. From my personal experience, I would like to advise all the entrepreneurs to just begin.

Recognizing the failure of great ideas is the most pivotal skill a businessman can have. But experiencing such situations can help you tackle all those issues. All you need to do is check out the target audience, sell, analyze and market your goods and services to those targeted people.

Be confident in what you are saying about your business and what great things you are aiming to do. And this way you will touch the peak of success.
