My AI-Search Optimization Platform Makes $5,000/Month With 150 Clients
Who are you and what business did you start?
I'm Dhairya Patel, founder of MyZia (myzia.io), an AI Search Optimization platform covering AEO, GEO, and SEO. My primary customers are small and mid-sized businesses and agency owners who need to stay visible as search shifts from traditional rankings to AI-driven answer engines.
What makes MyZia unique is that it's automated end-to-end: it scans a website across 16 AI models and 40+ signals, then generates high-quality content and posts it directly to the client's website, no manual work needed. Today we bring in around $5K/month, with over 150 paid clients in our first two months.
How do you come up with the idea for MyZia?
The idea came from watching a fundamental shift in digital discoverability. Traditional SEO was no longer sufficient as search engines evolved into AI-driven answer engines. I saw startups and established businesses struggling to adapt to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), let alone produce the sheer volume of content required to stay relevant.
I also run Web5 Solution, a development agency, so I was inside these client projects every day and watched the same pain repeat. The 'aha' moment was realizing the fix could not be another dashboard full of recommendations - it had to be an automated, end-to-end optimization solution. So I built an AI engine that not only generates high-quality blogs but automatically posts them directly to the client's website, eliminating the friction of content creation and publishing entirely.
Validation came fast: we acquired over 150 paid clients in just our first two months.
How did you launch MyZia and get initial traction?
MyZia launched lean. I also run Web5 Solution, a development agency, so I already had direct relationships with SMB and agency owners who felt this problem firsthand. Instead of a big launch event, I took the product straight to them through direct sales conversations.
The response validated the idea immediately: we crossed 150 paid clients within our first two months. Because we launched as a paid product from the start, revenue funded our own feature development - we have stayed bootstrapped the whole way. The biggest lesson from the launch: build something businesses will pay for immediately, and the revenue gives you the freedom to keep improving it without outside pressure.
What was the growth strategy for MyZia and how did you scale?
Growth so far has come from direct B2B sales to small and mid-sized businesses and agency owners - real conversations with the people who feel the pain of AI-search invisibility.
We are now expanding into outbound email campaigns targeting marketing agencies globally, and we are building presence across software directories, review platforms, and founder communities. We also practice what we sell: we optimize our own content for AI answer engines, so every article we publish is both marketing and a live proof of the product.
What were the biggest lessons learned from building MyZia?
Timing has been our biggest ally. The shift from traditional search to AI-driven answer engines created exactly the wave MyZia is riding - businesses are being forced to rethink discoverability right now, and we were already built for it.
The hardest part was what success brought with it: acquiring over 150 paid clients in our first two months meant our biggest challenge instantly became scaling technical infrastructure - building reliable auto-posting integrations across dozens of CMS platforms at once. The lesson I took from that: engineer for the demand you hope for, not the demand you have. We had to rapidly optimize our architecture so the AI could keep producing and publishing high-value, penalty-free content at scale without a single bottleneck.
Two books shape how I work: Atomic Habits, for the discipline of small consistent improvements compounding, and Zero to One, for the reminder to build something categorically better instead of incrementally different. My top tip for founders: pick a shift that is already happening and build the automated answer to it - then let early revenue, not outside funding, buy you the time to get it right.
