My name is Ben Pianese. I am an entrepreneur, coach, and professional sports massage therapist. Since 2008, I have been operating a business called Massaggi in London. Last year, I created Asiatic Thai Massage with the collaboration of two business partners in London. The aim was to offer one of the most authentic Thai massage experiences to relax and rejuvenate your mind and body.

While Massaggi offers the highest quality of sport and therapeutic massage. We are a multidisciplinary clinic that provides excellence in diagnostics, treatment, health coaching, and remedial massage treatmentsto individuals suffering from soft tissue injuries or back, neck, and shoulder pain. Massaggi's team of highly skilled professionals use their knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess each client's needs and design a treatment plan to address the issue effectively.

Massaggi's signature service is sports massage and includes physical examinations, which treat conditions such as mental stress, joint stiffness, muscular fatigue, headaches, and insomnia. Sports massage also uses specific massage techniques to help relieve soft tissue injuries, while deep tissue massage reduces muscle tension. Other forms of treatment are The Emmett Technique, Reconnective healing, Neuro-Structural Integration (NST) Pregnancy massage, Therapeutic massage, and Sports massage.

Before the pandemic, I had a team of 5 massage therapists, and we used to make over £200k/year. But ever since the pandemic hit and a ton of people were affected in various ways, I decided to switch things up and focus more on my health and fitness. In doing so, I decided to scale down operations and started delivering one-on-one sessions under my training institute that specializes in body alignment techniques.

What's your backstory and how did you come up with the idea?

My journey with health and wellness began with my knee injury accompanied by lower back pain that left me almost bedridden. During my recovery process - which was prolonged due to the nature of my injuries. I gained insights into ancient massage practices, posture correction, and healing in a new light.

I became more attuned to my body, allowing me to listen to its cues and helping me see things from a different perspective. This time, I understood that a profound shift in consciousness had helped facilitate a transformation that allowed for self-discovery.

The concept behind business hit me with a dedication to delivering superior healing service to the community that is unique among all the rest, including stress-relieving, posture correction, lymphatic drainage, deep tissue massages, and the most anticipated and effective, The Magrin Method.

Describe the process of launching the business.

After completing my massage training, I was able to gain plenty of experience during my work in various spas and clinics. My work as a massage therapist was quite rewarding, I realized my interest and passion in business, and that's when my first venture Massaggi came about.

The business turned out to be a natural alternative option to traditional medical treatments and worked as a way to relieve pain, stress, and tension without medication.

Back in 2006, I was one of the first therapists to launch a full-fledged website that established our credibility and helped us reach a wider audience. Our top-notch services and effective treatment resulted in the success of our business. We used to provide soothing and relaxing services at home or the location of choice.

Since launch, what has worked to attract and retain customers?

Whether it's Massaggi London or Asiatic, we already had an excellent head start, with some terrific reviews and a great location. Both businesses have attracted customers through word-of-mouth, online reviews, and offline recommendations.

Furthermore, the official website is an excellent resource for clients in understanding treatment, special offers, discounts, and attractive packages.

How are you doing today and what does the future look like?

I'm doing great with my massage business. I have a steady stream of clients, and I'm delighted with how things are going.

The work is rewarding, and I came across several people who need our services and health coaching daily. Especially the Magrin Method has been proven effective in relieving stress, and negative thinking and helps you regain control over your emotions and mental state. It makes me feel like I'm doing something good for them by helping them relax and take care of their stress levels.

Talking about the future, we plan to expand our operations and customer base with a new Asiatic massage spa opening soon in London.

Through starting the business, have you learned anything particularly helpful or advantageous?

It's been a long journey for us in the last few years. During the development of our business, we have gone through quite a few challenges and obstacles. Although there were some marketing mistakes that we made, we have learned a lot from them.

The biggest lesson is that a successful business takes more than a great idea and hard work. Though the idea is vital, a solid business plan and marketing strategy are equally important for any successful business. Including a clear vision of what you want and being flexible and open to change and new opportunities is crucial.

Aside from getting organic reviews from "Google my business." Massaggi's website contains a wealth of quality content, client testimonials, and positive reviews, all of which are important to all of us.

The official website has become our most valuable tool to connect with prospective clients and address their queries. It also assists new visitors in getting the relevant information they need about services, packages, offers, and times frame.

What have been the most influential books, podcasts, or other resources?

Peter Buffett's book "Life Is What You Make It" is one of my favorites. I recommend this book to everyone willing to improve their life but who doesn't know where to start.

Buffett breaks down how we can improve our lives by making small, incremental changes in the book. He also provides a lot of great real-life examples to illustrate his points.

Advice for other entrepreneurs who want to get started or are just starting out?

I have some recommendations for aspiring entrepreneurs or those starting their business journey.

● Don't be afraid to take risks. It's crucial to think out of the box and try new things.

● Learn as much as you can. There's so much information available; you must get the most out of it.

● Always be willing to listen and learn from others. There is a lot of knowledge and experience, and it's beneficial to be open to it.

Lastly, always be prepared to put in a lot of hard work. Building a successful business takes time and effort, so don't expect to see results overnight.
