In 2012 Ben Francis together with his long-time school friend Lewis Morgan founded Gymshark, a Birmingham-based activewear brand.

While studying in college a 19-year-old Ben developed a passion to own a business and using his knowledge of information technology he learned to build websites as well.

Meanwhile Ben also became interested in fitness and in 2011, he created the Gymshark website. One year later together with Lewis, he started dropshipping fitness supplements on their website.

Later, Ben put together his earnings from his pizza delivery job with the money made from their websites to buy a sewing machine & a screen printer to manufacture their own products.

Seven years later, the brand became a leading name in the sportswear industry and made a whopping turnover of $130 million.
