Hello! Who are you and what business did you start?

Hi, this is Abdul Majeed, one of the directors of the software development firm - Infinite Open Source Solutions LLP. I am very much delighted to share our success story here on this platform-Starter Story. IOSS is bonded together with five directors and we commenced with our flagship product Infinite MLM Software in the global industry during 2009.

Our main goal is to offer the best services to MLM business operations managed by our massive customer base with our MLM software.

A brief about MLM

MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) also known as Network Marketing, which is a marketing strategy to sale products or services where the revenue of the MLM company is derived from a non-salaried workforce selling the company's products/services

Huge MLM giants sell their MLM products to a large number of customer base with their chain of distributors. It is not a simple task to maintain the business relationship and manage all the operations like commissions, bonuses of the MLM business. So here comes the requirement of MLM software for huge giants as well as for growing startup MLM companies to expand their business.

Our Infinite MLM software successfully managed the huge product sale with all types of commissions, MLM plans, MLM business reports with many more exclusive features and this started reflecting on our growth of income. We achieved a monthly income of around $60,000 and monthly revenue of around $1,00,000.

What's your backstory and how did you come up with the idea?

Yes! It was the struggling period for us to cross all the hurdles to success. There is a saying that success will not come to you, instead, you need to keep on trying to get success in all the aspects of your life.

We, five members, we're working in an IT company and our ideas were merged to form a unity in establishing IOSS. Our idea to start up with product marketing came up with our plan about dreaming and enduring the future. We submitted our idea to TBI Manager (Technical Business Incubation) and they approved it and we received some funds from the investors to start our first business venture, the development of school tracking software and it was a great success but we could not support a similar type of product marketing.

So we started with an affiliate marketing tool, where we researched more into the MLM field and its business operations. We found many people into multi-level marketing and earning as a part-time or full-time business and that manual work could be done through the software to make their business tracking in an easy way. This gave us an opportunity to support an MLM business owner and we got our first client from Bangladesh to build MLM software for his MLM business. This paved the way for our flagship product.

Later on, we again launched the Student Tracking App by adding the advanced features in a school tracking software.

Financial status was not that stable but we standardized our marketing techniques to face all the challenges to successfully deliver the project for our clients.

Implementing the ideas of our flagship product MLM software was a great challenge for us to provide a stable and successful deliverable for our clients.

It was designed and developed after a complete analysis of MLM market trends and customer requirements. We rendered customized and complete solutions for our globalized and massive client base.

We implemented cutting edge technologies and used secure platforms to build the software. Upgraded the software version as per the customer requirements and the emerging network marketing strategies.

Many direct selling companies such as Bizmo World (Germany), MDiet (Spain), LiveFree (Spain), Phygicart (India), SynergyO2 (Worldwide), etc required effective MLM software for its high productivity and business growth. So we designed different MLM plans and compensations after thorough market research. This made our MLM software to be exclusive for all MLM companies to cope up with their affiliate marketing. MLM Software with the user-friendly dashboard where the user and admin can track their income, expenditure, generated bonus their joinings, performance of their downline team members, etc.

At the time of launching, we added few features such as e-commerce integration, sales, and income report, website replication, etc. Gradually, many Add-on features were implemented frequently to provide affordable and customized services to the expanding customer base. The startup cost was feasible and controlled with all our business income and loans.

Later on, we supported all over the world to withstand in developing all other services like developing a Custom application, Cryptocurrency & blockchain application, CMS, WordPress plugin, mobile application, Taxi Dispatch Software, and web design services. Our newly launched product, Project Management Software, is available free to download.

Describe the process of launching the business.

We followed a perfect product launch strategy to launch our exclusive MLM software. The product strategies include customer experience, product quality, function, pricing structure, etc.

Stable and affordable software was provided only after the analysis of customer requirements. Once the product is developed, it undergoes many testing phases to enhance product quality. We market our landing page or website to acquire customers via the registration page. The demo version of the software will be uploaded in the client-server so that our clients can experience the real-time MLM software functions.

We developed our website answering all the MLM related queries and functions. We update our business strategies depending upon the market trend and customer needs. Hence, we render unique MLM solutions via our MLM website interface.

We faced many challenges even after the product launch. Our first challenge was to face the tight competitive MLM environment. After the product launch, we followed certain strategies to promote our business like digital marketing, SEO to showcase our products and services.

Advanced technologies and software methodologies like Agile, Scrum were adopted to improve the performance and productivity of our MLM software. Our highly skilled developers are researching consistently to fix all the bugs to satisfy customer requirements.

Since launch, what has worked to attract and retain customers?

Initially, we got some clients through friends and few from our local area and we got a good response and feedback from our clients which made us keep on improving and implementing new ideas as per their requirements.

My personal recommendation to all budding or aspiring entrepreneurs is that you need to keep yourself focussed on your goal and to provide a unique and world-class service for all your customers. Customer satisfaction plays a major role in building your business relationship and growth. Always come up with real-time solutions that can be easily adopted by all the customers of your business.

In 2010, we started digital marketing so we promoted our software worldwide.

What you do should be exposed to your customers. Transparency makes a way to build a business relationship globally. Digital marketing strategies helped us widen social media channels to communicate with business vendors and users.

Implemented content marketing and emerging SEO techniques. The reports were analyzed via Google Analytics to track customer traffic and the location. This tool-assisted in many ways to improve marketing techniques and expand our MLM business.

We publish in our blog once a week and we keep on making changes in existing content for the freshness as per the current information.

Google Analytics helped us to improve customer satisfaction as per customer requirements. This helped to enhance the customer retention rate.

We believe that good customer support engages with all customers and will help to maintain all valuable customers. Feedback is also collected from the customers so that it becomes easy to address customer issues.

How are you doing today and what does the future look like?

We are going well with all aspects of our business. We established in India, then extended our service to more than 1800 clients in 80 different countries. We also operate in two international branches of Italy and Germany.

We have successfully delivered 2000 projects in different countries and services like Direct selling, blockchain application development, mobile application development, CMS, and web design and many more.

We also started focussing on different products like Project Management Software, Taxi Management Software, CRM, E-Commerce software, Student tracking app

Through starting the business, have you learned anything particularly helpful or advantageous?

"The experience will make a man perfect". I always believe in this quote. Whether it is a good or bad experience I keep on trying with different innovative ideas to come up with effective and real-time solutions.

I keep myself motivated and excited to research on many business strategies and marketing techniques and keep trying to implement those business strategies.

The good thing which I always experience is our team cooperation and unity of five super directors in accomplishing the different business operations successfully.

We always keep our team comfortable to carry out the tasks in an effective manner. So we offer flexible working hours for them.

What platform/tools do you use for your business?

We use different platforms and software programming languages to provide quick response and services to enhance the business operations of our massive customer base. We provide customized solutions as per the requirements of our customers.

Following are the various technologies used:

Front-end: HTML,CSS, JavaScript
Back-end: MySql version-5.7.24, Ajax, PHP 7.0 (Laravel & CodeIgniter)
Database: To save all types of transaction details we have chosen MySQL relational database
Operating system: We have chosen the Linux operating system since it is an open-source and secure system.

What have been the most influential books, podcasts, or other resources?

To tell the truth, I don't stick to any particular book. I love to read anything related to digital marketing, networking from any online resource. We all know that Google is a very good resource to find or read anything that you require. I would love to read online about digital marketing, SEO, advanced marketing techniques. This inspired me to implement those strategies to enhance our MLM software features.
